Marketplace Integrations

Discover, authorize, check, and disconnect the apps that extend an Eigenn team workspace.

The App Marketplace is the control center that connects Eigenn to accounting systems, payments, communication tools, automation platforms, storage services, CRM tools, and MCP clients.

What the Marketplace Helps You Do

  • Browse official and approved external apps.
  • Search and filter by capability, category, connection method, or availability.
  • Read the permissions and the setup needs before you connect.
  • See which apps the current team installed.
  • Examine recent sync health when an app records activity.
  • Update settings, disconnect access, or report an app.

Browse the Catalog

  1. Open Apps.
  2. Review the featured integrations.
  3. Search by app name or description.
  4. Narrow the catalog with:
    • category
    • official or external type
    • active availability
    • capability
    • authentication method
    • installed state
  5. Open an app card for details.

The default featured set now highlights Stripe Connect, Gmail, and QuickBooks Online when the catalog has them.

Understand App Types

Official apps

Eigenn bundles the official apps. Their setup can open an OAuth window, request a provider API key, accept an automation URL, or generate MCP configuration.

Examples of active official app definitions include Stripe Connect, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Slack, Gmail, Resend, Zapier, and supported MCP clients. Eigenn marks other definitions beta or coming soon. Always trust the current badge in the marketplace over a static list.

External apps

External apps are OAuth applications that a developer team creates. Eigenn shows an application to other users only when that application has approved marketplace status. When you install one, Eigenn grants the selected scopes through its consent flow.

Read the developer name, website, scopes, screenshots, and install URL before you give access.

Read the Detail Panel

The contents of the panel change with the app. The panel can include:

DetailWhy it matters
Connection methodTells you whether the app uses OAuth, a provider key, a webhook URL, or MCP.
AvailabilityDistinguishes active, beta, and coming-soon coverage.
CapabilitiesDescribes the record types and the actions that the app can use.
Provider scopesShows permissions requested from the connected service.
Before you connectLists prerequisites and necessary mappings.
Reacts to these eventsLists the event names that the app recognizes.
ActivityShows recent sync outcomes when the connection records journal activity.

An event badge is app metadata. It does not create a universal webhook subscription or payload contract.

Connect an App

  1. Select the correct Eigenn team.
  2. Open the app.
  3. Review its permissions and availability.
  4. Complete the displayed prerequisites.
  5. Select the install or connect action.
  6. Complete provider consent or enter the necessary configuration.
  7. Return to the marketplace.
  8. Confirm that the app appears as installed.
  9. Run a test or check the first sync before you depend on the data.

For an accounting app, confirm the company or tenant selection and the account mappings. For an inbox connection, confirm the mailbox or the labels that the connection watches. For an automation app, send a harmless test event.

Check Sync Activity

Installed apps can show:

  • Connection date
  • On or off state
  • Healthy, warning, error, or idle status
  • Synced and failed counts
  • Recent record direction and entity type
  • Recent provider error messages

Idle means no sync-journal activity is available. It is not the same as a successful provider test.

If data appears stale:

  1. Confirm that the connection is on.
  2. Examine the latest failed activity.
  3. Compare the provider permissions with what the app needs.
  4. Run the connection test or reconnect the app.
  5. Compare one source record with Eigenn.

Disconnect and Revoke

Most official app disconnect actions remove the saved team connection. An external app disconnect revokes the tokens of the current user for that OAuth application. Gmail now uses an on or off sync action. Corinthian does a paired remote uninstall.

Important limits:

  • The documentation does not say that a disconnect deletes Eigenn records that you already imported.
  • The marketplace action does not universally revoke provider-side authorization.
  • Other team members can have their own authorization to an external app.

For a complete security removal, disconnect the app in Eigenn. Revoke Eigenn at the provider when applicable. Then check the retained records.

Availability Boundaries

  • Coming-soon apps are visible catalog plans, not usable integrations.
  • Beta apps can change behavior. We recommend that you test them with representative records.
  • A capability label does not guarantee every record field or direction.
  • No single retry, signature, sync frequency, or disconnect rule applies to every app.
  • When you install an app, you do not get access to undocumented public API operations.
