The models home and folders

Group models in folders, star favorites, search the library, and rename models from the models home.

The models home lists your folders and models. Folders group related models, such as all the models for one budget cycle. Favorites keep the models that you use most at the top of the page.

Go to Scenario planning to open the models home. Only a workspace Owner can create folders, move models, or rename models. An Owner or a Member can star favorites. A Viewer cannot.

1. Create a folder

  1. Click New folder.
  2. Type a name. A folder name can have up to 120 characters.
  3. Click Create folder.

The folder shows in the Models section, before the models. The folder card shows how many models it holds.

2. Open, rename, or delete a folder

  • Open: Click the folder card. The section title changes to the folder name. Click All models to go back.
  • Rename: Point to the folder card and click its actions button (Actions for the folder name). Select Rename, type the new name, and click Rename.
  • Delete: Point to the folder card and click its actions button. Select Delete folder.

Eigenn deletes the folder immediately, without a confirmation step. The models in the folder are not deleted. Eigenn moves them to the library root.

3. Move a model into a folder

  1. Point to the model card.
  2. Click its actions button (Actions for the model name).
  3. Under Move to, select a folder.

To take a model out of its folder, select Library root. The Move to items show only when the workspace has at least one folder. A new model always starts at the library root.

4. Star a favorite

Point to the model card and click the star. The model shows under Favorites at the top of the page. Click the star again to remove it.

Favorites are personal. Each member has a separate list. In the Models section, your favorites come first. The other models follow, with the most recently changed model first.

5. Search the library

Click the search field, or press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows. Type part of a name.

  2. Click the model name at the top left of the grid.
  3. Type the new name. A model name can have up to 200 characters.
